Suriya's movie 24 :Samantha has been roped in to play the female lead
With Suriya’s near completion of Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Masss’, there is news on his next venture,’24’ to be directed by Vikram Kumar.
The most awaited news about the female lead cast is officially confirmed now. Samantha Ruth Prabhu of ‘Kaththi’ fame is to play one of the female lead roles. Vikram Kumar had previously remarked about two female leads for the movie. As per sources, the other role will be enacted by Catherine Tresa.
The film which is an action adventure is supposed to begin work from April onwards. It will be financed by Surya’s 2D Entertainment and will have an awesome star cast and crew. The music will be composed by A R Rahman with Vairamuthu being roped in to write the lyrics. Bollywood lensman, Kiran Deohans, famed for his work on Jodha Akbar’‘ will be behind the cameras here.
Samantha’s excitement of being a part of the ‘24’ team has been tentatively confirmed by the star on her personal handle.
